I Miss My Dad | Alicia D’Agostino

Education Program Manager, Alicia D’Agostino, lost her dad to cancer when she was 13. Now, she works to ensure other families don’t experience the painful loss of a late cancer diagnosis by teaching our 3 Steps Detect℠ education.

Cancer Is a Part of My Story | Sara Port

Sara Port, DetecTogether’s Communications & Media Relations Manager, first learned about the organization’s lifesaving work when her husband, Jason Port, played in our annual Golf Tournament. Having lost his father to cancer when he was 6 years old, he connected to the mission of educating and empowering people about early cancer detection and continues to follow the 3 Steps Detect℠ approach for himself and for his own son.

Lessons From Our Father | Amy Kotsopoulos

Amy Kotsopoulos is DetecTogether’s Creative Director & Web Designer. Her husband, Chris Kotsopoulos, is a cancer survivor. Chris acted on his symptoms right away. It saved his life. Knowing your family health history can lead to early cancer detection—important information Chris shared with his sons.
